- Specialist In: Coming from a school background and trip leader, my strengths lie in outdoor adventure, ski and sports tours. Being a PE teacher previously, I have a depth of knowledge and experience in sports tours, including football, rugby and netball. I have previously taken tours across Europe, the states and the Middle East, building up a great contact base of schools and sports clubs. I love to hook schools and clubs up with international competition, whether that’s tournaments or fixtures that test teams against international opposition
- About Me: My background was a PE teacher and head of PE for several years before moving up to middle and then senior management. As my career progressed, I always kept school trips and tours at the heart of my yearly objectives. I ran a ski trip every year during the winter months, a sports tour during Easter and a summer adventure trip to the Alps every summer to over 150 students.
- Why I Love SLT Tours: I love seeing the team plan and deliver successful tours that leave long-lasting memories from the young people that go on them. The office culture is great to be amongst, the team work so hard but yet love to have fun.
- Best Sporting Memory: My claim to fame is I was crowned Yorkshire School Golf champion in 1994, I love all sports and now love coaching my daughter’s team. And being a Sheffield United fan, I love seeing the blades win week in week out
- My Dream Tour: My favourite place to tour and give people a once in a lifetime experience is to go to Florida on a sports tour. See all the amazing sights and theme parks but also see sports played and coached at the highest levels in the most stunning facilities.
- My Surprise Fact: I quit university after 48 hours, that was the last time I quit at anything, and the whole situation taught me a life lesson.
