A Barcelona Football & Netball Tour gives schools the opportunity to combine two of their most popular team sports within one overseas trip. Each squad follows its own sporting programme, with training and competitive fixtures tailored to its age and ability, while the wider group travels, stays and enjoys the destination together.

For footballers, Spain offers the excitement of playing in a country synonymous with the game, while netball teams can combine dedicated court time and competition with a fantastic European touring experience.

Away from sport, Barcelona and the Costa Brava provide plenty to bring the whole group back together. Sightseeing, beach time, sporting attractions and team activities can all be incorporated into the itinerary, creating one shared school experience both on and off the pitch and court.

Itinerary

Suggested Itinerary

Travel to Barcelona and transfer to your accommodation. Settle in before introductory football and netball training sessions or some free time, followed by your evening meal.

Both squads begin with dedicated training sessions before some downtime together. Later, the football and netball teams take part in their first competitive fixtures.

Continue the sporting programme with further training and competition, followed by a shared activity bringing the whole group together.

Take a break from fixtures and spend the day exploring Barcelona, with sightseeing, shopping or an optional sporting attraction before returning to your accommodation.

Enjoy breakfast and some final free time or a sporting activity before transferring for your journey back to the UK.
